What do I need to do before my wax appointment?
Your hair should be 1/4 in or the length of a sprinkle before you come in, typically this length is achieved 10-14 days after you've last shaved or trimmed-- if your hair is longer thats totally okay, don't trim it. The day before your appointment you can use a gentle body scrub to buff out the hairs and remove dead skin.
The day of your appointment avoid an caffeine, take a warm shower and wear comfy, loose clothes. You may take ibuprofen or Tylenol 30 min before you session.
What does your Brazilian wax include?
At Zera Haus, all Brazilian wax services include: full frontal and butt strip wax, ingrown hair treatment and soothing mask to prevent ingrown hairs and reduce irritation afterwards.
What is a Brow Lamination?
Brow Lamination is a chemical process in which we straighten and smooth out your brow hairs so we can manipulate the direction they are brushed in. This will make your hairs look fuller and camouflage sparseness and can last up 8 weeks and will fade as your brows grow.
What does your Brow Lamination service include?
Our Brow Lamination service includes lamination, wax, tint, and deep conditioning treatment to maintain the health and integrity of your brows. You also get a complimentary aftercare kit with instructions and mini Zera Haus Luminarch Brow Serum.
How do I know which brow service is right for me?
If you're unsure of which brow service is right for you, we recommend booking a First Time Signature Brow Shape which includes a consultation and we'll be able to decide together which service is right for you.
Do you offer other wax services like lip and chin waxes?
Yes! If there's hair, I can wax it. You'll find small area wax services as add ons once you select a main service on the menu.
Do you offer vajacials?
Yes, if you have ingrown hairs that need to be extracted or have sensitive skin book a Soothing Vajacial will give extra time to address your concerns. This will show up as an add on to the Signature Brazilian Wax.
What do I need to do in between my wax appointments?
Its recommended to exfoliate with a body scrub 3 times a week or how many times is instructed during your session.
How do I take care of my brows after I get them laminated?
For the first 24 hours keep them dry and avoid touching them. Afterwards, use brow serum every other day and brush them in place every day.
I have sensitive skin, is brow lamination a good option for me?
Brow Laminations may not be suitable for senstive skin and it would be best to book a Signature Brow Shape to perform a patch test to see if you have a reaction.
